Flower Spirit is a woman owned and operated handcrafted jewelry business based out of Troy, New York. We were born in May 2024 when we participated in our very first pop-up market, and from there we fell in love with being a small business. 

Flower Spirit is run solely by it's owner and visionary, Maya Alexandra (that's me!). Maya spent most of her life floating around Long Island until she found her home in NY's Capital Region. When Maya isn't traveling for markets, or  in her office (jazz music and a candle help her create) she works as a Direct Support Professional for The ARC of Rensselaer County. 

I'll drop the third person for a moment and tell it straight. I have always loved fun, non-traditional jewelry. I think it's incredible how much one can express themselves simply through their choice of self decoration. But I always had a hard time finding the whimsical pieces that I dreamt of, until one day I thought, "what the hell, I'm creative and I can do this!"   So, after buying an odd assortment of supplies (and having done zero research on jewelry making) I spent days sitting on my dining room floor watching YouTube videos and devouring books on techniques. One thing led to another and here I am now! This journey has been more magical than I ever expected, but really I had no idea what to expect.
